Pizza Pockets

So there are two ways you can do these up! You can use our Homemade Pizza Dough recipe or you can use a Pie Pastry.

I use pie pastry as I find it much quicker.

Ingredients:
~ Whatever you want in your pizza pockets!! Mine are very simple as I have picky kids.
* Pepperoni
* Summer Sausage
* Pineapples chunks (Sometimes, as I have a picky Husband too)
* Chedder Cheese Shredded
* Mozza Cheese Shredded
* Pizza Sauce
* Egg whites

Optional:
*Onions
*Bacon
*Mushrooms
*Anything!

Herbs to mix in with your dough/pastry:
* Basil
* Oregano

Directions:
1) Mix your herbs into your dough/pastry mix
2) Cut up your circles. Mine are 6 inches in diameter. I use a circle cutter that I have.

 3) Preheat your oven to 350
4) Lay out a few circles onto your counter. Lay on your sauce and the rest of your pizza ingredients (not the egg whites)

5)Fold over one side of the pocket and push down on the edges. Then twist the edges into the pocket for better seal.
5) Brush with egg whites. Poke with Fork holes and bake in the oven till golden brown.

6) Allow them to cool down and then freeze.

Defrost:
1) Pull out of freezer and put on oven sheet and in at 350 for 10 to 15 minutes.
2) Tada! That easy!

**These are amazing after school treats. The home ingredients are much more filling than the store ones and they taste much better **
