Chicken Thighs



Makes 4-5 Quarts

Ingredients:
~ 24 Chicken Thighs
~ Salt & Pepper

Directions:
1) Buy your chicken thighs in large packs when on sale. Peel the skin off the chicken thighs. You can also de-bone if you prefer ( I didn't).




2) Brown both sides in a frying pan and add salt &pepper.
3) Place in wide mouth mason jars. You can fit 5-6 thighs in a jar. They shrink a bit after processing. Do not add any liquid.
4) Put the lids on and place in pressure canner.
5) For bone in pressure can for 90 mins
    For no bone pressure can for 75 mins. 

* The jars don't look pretty and in this case looks are deceiving. When you are ready to use put your chicken in a covered dish in the oven, cover your chicken in your fav. sauce and cook. So good. *
