Canned Beef, Deer & Moosemeat

Ingredients:
~ Beef (Deer or Moose will work) Roast (larger the better)
~ Salt & Pepper
~ Onion soup mix
~ Beef Oxo
~ Garlic
~ Onion

Directions:
1) Put some slices in the roast and put garlic slivers in them. Slice up some onions and put over roast. 
2) Add about one inch of water into roaster. Mix in some beef oxo and onion soup mix.
3) Brown roast for an hour or so at 350 degrees.
4) Turn oven off and let the roast cool a bit.
5) Cut up your roast into chucks or whatever you prefer. You can also just shred your roast too by pulling it apart.



 6) Sterilize your jars and lids.
7) Add your beef to the jars till one inch from the top.
8) Add a small amount of broth to the jars. About an inch or so of it.



9) Clean the tops of the jars off.
10) Put the lids on the jars.
11) Add to canner. You must use a pressure canner for this just to be on the safe side.
12) Can for: 1 hour and 30 mins for Quarts.
                    1 hour and 15 mins for Pints.
