Lasagna
This is a really simple and cheap way to make Lasagna!! I made these two quite early in the morning while the older kids were at school and I was marathoning old romance movies. (yes, Jerry Maguire was involved!)
Ingredients:
* Ground Beef (The large family packs). One per Lasagna
* Pasta Sauce (I use four cheese as it is thicker). You will need almost two of the larger cans per lasagna.
*Sun Dried Tomato Pesto (two jars per Lasagna)
* Dried Onions
* Ricotta Cheese (two tubs)
* Your Frozen Beet Greens defrosted (as much as you want)
* Fresh Flat Pasta (there will soon be a recipe up for this) One package for two lasagna's should work.
* Shredded Cheddar Cheese
* Shredded Mozza Cheese
* Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
Directions:
* Fry up your ground beef and add the dried green onions. Salt and Pepper
* Add pasta sauce and pesto and set aside
* Heat up your Ricotta Cheese and Beet Greens in a pan and then set aside
* Lay down a layer of flat pasta in your lasagna pan, Lay a layer of meat down, Another layer of pasta, a layer of the Ricotta mix, a layer of pasta, a layer of meat and lastly a layer of the shredded cheese mixed together.
* Set on counter to cool down. Wrap in saran wrap. Wrap in tinfoil and freeze.
Defrost:
* Set on counter pretty much all day to defrost.
* Bake in oven at 350 for 45 mins to 1 hour.
