Braided Bread

Ingredients:
~ 1 egg
~ 3/4 c. oil
~ 3/4 c. sugar 
~ 1 tsp. salt
~ 6 c. hot water 
~ 4 tbsp. Yeast
~ Flour

Optional
~ Flax seeds, Chia seeds, Hemp powder ( if using one of these use about 4 tbsp, if using all use less)

Directions:
~ Add the first five ingredients including your optional and whisk till mixed together good.

~ Add your yeast and some flour and whisk together

~ Keep adding flour till you can no longer whisk. Pour onto floured surface. Add some more flour and start to knead your dough together.

~ Keep adding flour and kneading until your dough is only slightly sticky

~ Put into greased bowl, cover and let rise 15 mins or till doubled in size.

~ Punch dough down 15 times or so. Get those air bubbles out.

~ Form any regular loaves you want to make.

~ For your braided loaf take a hunk of dough and roll it out into a long tube with your hands. Use oil on your table so it does not stick to it. Do this twice more.

~ Have all three of your long dough tubes laying side by side. Push the top end together and start to braid the dough. Push the ends together too. Remember while you are doing this to do it loosely. Your dough will need to rise one last time and will rise double its original size. So keep that in mind for how big you want your loaf.

~ Set your loaves in a warm area and let rise again. Till double in size.

~ Bake in pre- warmed oven till golden brown at 350 degrees
